Happy New Year! Hope that you're not suffering too badly if you were out last night. I haven't updated any sketches here for a while, so thought I'd share these with you. Hope you like 'em!

hi matey (levidavies CA forum) love these images, I always need to get back into my sketching et c, faces though were always my downfall could never managed them to look anything good , but these are really nice matey
Thanks mate. I decided that I needed to do more general sketching to make sure I was learning and progressing. I'd recommend using a blue col-erase pencil for sketching, they're wonderful because you can draw over them in normal pencil and use Photoshop to remove the blue constrcution lines. Gives you much more freedom!
You havbe a good eye, monkeyboy! Yep, that was a very quick sketch of Lee Carter from a pic in ImagineFX that I had open on the table at the time. In a weird coincidence, Lee Carter (who I didn't know) got in touch with me on a completely unrelated matter about a day after posting the sketch online!
